On this day trip to Cassis from Aix-en-Provence, we'll visit Calanques and Cape Canaille, a beautiful natural wilderness that you'll fall in love with at first sight.
We'll meet at the indicated time on Avenue Giuseppe Verdi in Aix-en-Provence. From there, we'll head to the coast and, after a 1-hour journey by minibus, we'll arrive at the town of Cassis.
Once there, we'll travel along Crest Road and go to Cape Canaille - the highest sea cliff in all of Europe. When we reach the top, you'll be rewarded with one of the most beautiful views of the area. Afterward, we'll go to the charming and colorful fishing port of Cassis.
Also, you can take a boat trip to see the Calanques, some steep cliffs in the area of Marseille. If you decide to take the boat trip, you'll sail along the blue waters of the Mediterranean, passing beautiful natural coves that cannot be reached by land. Just a heads-up that the boat ticket isn't included in the tour. You can buy your ticket right at the pier on the day of the activity.
Our adventure ends back at the original departure point after 4 to 4.5 hours after pickup.
If the tour is on Wednesday or Friday, you'll have the chance to visit the traditional market. Here, you'll get lost among the stands with typical products as you observe Cassis' daily life.
