Bonifacio Boat Trip
After boarding early in the morning at the port of Tino Rossi in Ajaccio, we will start our delightful trip along the coast of Corsica towards the south of the island. Along the way, you will see a variety of amazing natural wonders. One of them will be the “Lion of Roccapino”, a rock formation that appears to be keeping watch over the Mediterranean Sea.
As the boat approaches the city of Bonifacio, you will find yourself in front of the formidable limestone island cliffs and the famous rock formation known as ‘the grain of sand’. You will also encounter the magnificent San Antonio cave which is only accessible from the ocean.
Once you are in the luxury port of Bonifacio, you will have 4 hours of your own free time to tour this pretty medieval city. It was founded in 833 by the margrave of Tuscany and occupied by the Genoese in 1195. During this time, you can visit the amazing King of Aragon’s Stairway and stroll through picturesque streets.
You will also have the chance to eat in a restaurant in the city center. Finally, we will return to Ajaccio around 6:30 pm.
