On this Green Canyon cruise from Alanya, we'll enjoy a unique day sailing the Oymapinar Reservoir while admiring the rocky walls of the gorge. Also, we'll enjoy a traditional Turkish lunch.
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Alanya and take you to the Oymapinar Reservoir. In about an hour and 20 minutes, we'll arrive at the reservoir, where we'll board a boat and sail through the famous Green Canyon.
We'll enter this gorge of turquoise waters while admiring the imposing Taurus Mountains with their slopes full of cedars, yews, pines, and oaks. Did you know that this reservoir is filled by the waters from the Manavgat River? It originates from several springs located about a mile away, which are the ones that give color to the riverbed.
During the cruise, you can sunbathe and jump into the water for a refreshing dip. What's more, we'll refuel with a delicious traditional Turkish lunch including fish. Bon appétit!
Lastly, we'll disembark and return to Alanya, where we'll arrive at your hotel at 3 pm.
