When booking, you can choose between the following options to visit the Quattrocieli Winery. Both include an English-speaking guide and a tasting of wine and local products. You can see the details of each option below:
We'll meet at the entrance of the Quattrocieli Winery at 5 pm and begin a guided tour of the facilities. We'll talk about the history of the company and the main winemaking techniques through different videos.
Afterwards, we'll taste three wines accompanied by typical Sicilian cured meats and cheeses. As if that weren't enough, we'll learn how to bottle, cork and label a bottle - you'll feel like a real expert!
For this second option, we'll meet at 6 pm at the main gate of the Quattrocieli Winery.
We'll begin by discussing the history and tradition of the brand and how wine is made in this Sicilian bodega. We'll accompany these explanations with videos that will show us the main winemaking techniques that are used here.
Then, we'll provide you with a picnic basket with typical products, including salami and cheeses, vegetable couscous, cunzato bread, seasonal fruit... Tasty delicacies surrounded by a unique environment!
This experience includes a visit to the winery and learning about the main winemaking techniques. We'll then indulge in a wine tasting where we'll get to enjoy 4 types of the best ecological wines from Quattrocieli. It's time! We'll learn how to make our own blend.
We'll guide you through how to analyse the different features of wine, so you can choose which ones you would like to include in your blend. We'll provide you with the necessary equipment and expertise for you to make your own creation. You'll then get to try it too! As a pairing, you'll be offered a Sicilian aperitif with bruschetta, cheese, and salami.
Curious about how wine is bottled? With this tour option, we'll uncover all the winemaking secrets with a tour of the winery.
After the visit, have a tasting of 4 different wines, including one straight from the barrel. What flavours and notes can you pick out from each drink? We'll pair it with a board of cured meats and bruschetta.
At the end of the experience, we'll learn about the bottling and labelling process for wine. You'll get to try it out for yourselves! You'll have the option to customise the label with your name and the date of your visit, as a unique souvenir from this winery.
