Would you like to discover the most beautiful spring landscapes in the Netherlands? Don’t miss this day trip to Keukenhof and Tulip Experience! At the indicated time, we'll meet inside Amsterdam Central Station, from where we'll walk to the point where the coach will be waiting to take us to the famous tulip fields.
After a 40-minute drive, we’ll arrive at Tulip Experience Amsterdam. You'll have an hour to explore this site, situated in the heart of the Bollenstreek, the Dutch flower bulb region. You can stroll amongst 4 million tulips of 700 different varieties, creating a sea of colour that’s perfect for taking photos.
You'll also be able to visit the Show Garden and explore the Tulip Museum. There, you’ll learn about the flower’s cultural significance and the evolution of its cultivation. The best way to round off your tour is in the indoor picking garden, where you'll be allowed to select five tulips to take home. You’ll have a truly special souvenir!
Next, we'll leave Tulip Experience Amsterdam behind and, after a journey of just 5 minutes, we’ll arrive at the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens, where the tulips, daffodils and hyacinths will captivate you from start to finish. The history of this place dates back to the 15th century, when the garden was used as a hunting ground and for gathering herbs for the kitchen of Jacqueline of Bavaria’s castle.
After passing through various private hands, Keukenhof was acquired by a foundation that has turned it into one of the most visited gardens in the world during spring. And no wonder!
You’ll have 3 hours at your leisure in Keukenhof to explore the world’s largest tulip garden. You can have fun in its floral maze and take millions of photos against this stunning sea of flowers. Its beautiful colours will brighten up any photograph!
Finally, with your camera and eyes full of colour, we’ll return to our starting point in Amsterdam, where we’ll bring this 6-hour tour to a close.
