Aracaju is one of the most beautiful coastal cities in the Brazilian state of Sergipe. On this tour, we'll discover all the charm of this town, which stands out for its colorful and lively atmosphere.
Aracaju Guided Tour
After picking you up at 9 am at your hotel in Aracaju, we'll start touring the main points of this city, which was, in fact, the first planned city in Brazil.
We'll start by enjoying the panoramic views at the Alto da Colina de Santo Antônio. Then we make our way to Parque Teófilo Dantas, where we'll see the façade of the iconic Metropolitan Cathedral. Its architectural style, combining neoclassical and Gothic styles, makes this temple a very unique monument.
Our route then continues by visiting the municipal markets of Antônio Franco and Virgínia Franco. In both these marketplaces, we'll see a great variety of products from the state of Sergipe, which has traditionally been known for its beautiful local handicrafts.
Next, we'll visit the central district of Orla de Aracaju to explore its lively atmosphere. This district is where most of the city's bars and restaurants are concentrated. We'll also stop at the Largo da Gente Sergipana, a striking sculptural ensemble on the banks of the Sergipe River whose figures pay tribute to the culture of the region.
Finally, at 12 pm, we'll conclude this tour of Aracaju by returning to your hotel.
Free Optional Tour
At the end of the tour at 12 pm, we'll give you the option to participate in a free tour of Aracaju beach until 3:30 pm. We'll take you to an area of the beach that has a tent, restrooms, and stalls with food and drinks for purchase. From Aracaju beach, we'll take you back to your hotel.
Hotel Pickup
This tour includes pickup from the hotels located in the downtown area of Aracaju. If you're staying in other areas of the city, we'll indicate an alternative meeting point.
Please note that if you're staying at the Makai Hotel, you'll need to select pickup from that hotel when making your booking.
