After picking you up at 6:30 am at your hotel in Aracaju, we'll leave the state of Sergipe behind to enter the state of Alagoas, where the historic city of Penedo is located.
We'll make our first stop at the handicraft center of Santana do São Francisco and then head to the town's pier for a boat ride on the São Francisco River. This trip will take us to Penedo, one of the main cities on the Rota do Imperador, a tourist route that follows the footsteps of Emperor Pedro II. Do you know the history of this Portuguese ruler?
We'll disembark in the historical center of Penedo to visit the Church of Nossa Senhora das Correntes and the Imperial Palace Museum. After visiting these places, we'll return to the boat to continue sailing to a sandbank called Croa, where you can take a refreshing swim surrounded by nature.
You'll surely work up an appetite, so we'll leave the boat behind and head to a restaurant for a buffet lunch with typical fish, shrimp, and chicken dishes.
After lunch, we'll return to your hotel in Aracaju, where we'll arrive at 7 pm.
