At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Asunción and take you to Atyrá by minibus, which will take around 1 hour 30 minutes.
Let's explore the ecological capital of Paraguay! Located next to the Cordillera de los Altos mountain range, this city stands out for its incredible environmental value. We'll admire the green meadows that surround it and discover its flora and fauna.
After learning more about the nature here, we'll take a guided tour of Atyrá. We'll stroll through its historic centre and admire iconic buildings such as the Town Hall and the Church of San Francisco de Asís, where Atyrá's patron saint located. Another spot we'll visit is the handicrafts market, where we'll see the city's famous leather products.
Our next stop will be the famous Marianela Complex. This space is composed of a group of religious buildings belonging to the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer that were built by Italians from Verona.
Once we've finished our tour of the Marianela Complex, we'll head to a restaurant in Atyrá and have a delicious lunch. While we enjoy a traditional Paraguayan dish, we'll admire beautiful views of our scenic surroundings.
We'll then hop back on the minibus and return to your hotel in Asunción, where we'll arrive at 4 pm.
