If you're in Barra do Turvo and you want to experience a sense of adventure and adrenaline, don't miss this rafting activity on the river Turvo, ideal for the whole family!
When booking you can choose between the following options, depending on whether you prefer an easy or moderate difficulty route. All of the routes will meet at km 21,5 of the Estrada Municipal Barreiro. If you do not have experience, don't worry, as we'll teach you how to correctly handle the paddles.
For each option, we'll first do a simulation to practice and, at the end of the activity, you can take a dip in the river!
In this easy difficulty option, we'll start from the Reginaldo neighbourhood, located at kilometre 13, and we'll descend the river Turvo for an hour and a half or two hours until we reach the Barreiro neighbourhood. The route is 5 kilometres (3.2 miles) long, where we'll encounter class II and III rapids. At the end of the trip, the minibus will pick us up to take us back to the starting point.
We'll board the rafting rafts in the Água Quente neighbourhood and descend the Turvo River to the Ribeirão Bonito neighbourhood, where the vehicle will be waiting to take us back to the base. In this modality we'll tackle level II and III rapids, covering a distance of approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 miles). The descent will take between one and a half and two hours, depending on the level of the water and your skill with the paddles.
This moderate-difficulty modality is ideal for those who wish to add more intensity to the route. We'll start in the Ribeirão Bonito neighbourhood and paddle for 3 kilometres (1.8 miles) through class III and IV rapids until we reach the Reginaldo neighbourhood, where the activity will end.
