Considered the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden structure in the world, Beijing's Forbidden City comprises close to 1000 buildings and almost 9000 chambers. Its design rigorously follows the principles of Feng Shui and Chinese cosmology, with a symmetrical alignment along a north-south axis, golden roofs, and red walls that represent good fortune and prosperity.
Throughout your visit, you can admire both the Outer Court, destined for important State ceremonies and dominated by the imposing Hall of Supreme Harmony, as well as the Inner Court, where you'll find the Imperial gardens and the private quarters of the emperor, the empress, and their concubines.

Ticket Options & Opening Times
- Morning ticket: allows access at any time between 8:30 am and 12 pm
- Afternoon ticket: allows access at any time between 11 am and 4 pm
Please note that the first general access time is at 8:30 am and the final admission is at 3:30 pm.
