Belfast Food Tour
At the appointed time we'll meet at Donegall Square in front of the City Hall. Fancy a taste of the local cuisine? Let the food tour of Belfast begin!
First, we'll head to a cosy café where we'll have a hot chocolate and a cannoli. To make it even more authentic, we'll have this snack with a chocolate liqueur. We'll learn the techniques used in the city to make all the dishes we'll taste.
We'll continue exploring Belfast as we approach the next stop on the tour. Here, we'll stop at another local eatery to try soda bread with sausages, a very typical recipe in Northern Ireland. Afterwards, we'll visit a fishmonger to try the famous oysters and smoked salmon - delicious!
The next stop will be a cheese shop, where, besides tasting some varieties of cheese, we'll learn about the cheese culture of Belfast and its surroundings. Have you ever heard of Irish stew? To try it, we'll go into a typical pub where we'll wash this stew down with a craft beer.
In the final stretch of our food tour of Belfast, we'll toast with two varieties of Irish whiskey and, as a finishing touch, we'll have an Irish coffee.
Finally, we'll end the tour on Hill Street after a three and a half hour tour.
