Valencia is one of the most important cities in Spain. Discover the city's incredibly rich heritage on this excursion that will take you through the historic center, the Baroque area as well as its more modern side.
Valencia Excursion
At 9:30 am, we'll meet in front of the Benicassim Tourist Office. From there, we'll head to Valencia by bus, one of Spain's most modern cities. After a little over an hour, we'll arrive at our destination and begin exploring this charming city that combines Gothic, Baroque and modernist influences.
To get a general idea of the magnitude of Valencia, we'll start with a one-hour sightseeing tour by bus, passing by iconic buildings like the City of Arts and Sciences and the Palau de la Música - two quintessential Valencia sites!
Next, we'll delve into the history of the city on a walking tour through the historic center of Valencia. We'll pass by the Central Market, the North Station, Santos Juanes Church and many other historic buildings that are part of the Valencian charm.
We'll also check out the famous Lonja de la Seda (Silk Exchange) and visit the Valencia Cathedral.
After these visits, you'll have four hours of free time to grab a bite to eat, do some shopping or continue exploring Valencia at your own pace.
Later on, we'll regroup next to the Serrano Towers and return to Benicassim by bus, arriving around 7 pm.
