First of all, we'll take a stroll through the beautiful old town of Bern to discover the houses and workshops where the chocolate brands Toblerone, Block, Suchard and Wander originated. We'll also learn about the history of these pioneering companies, which today are still a benchmark for the world cocoa industry.
We'll continue our tour of Bern on the Kramgasse. On this street, the main shopping street of the Swiss capital, we'll visit the Nobile chocolate shop. There, we'll enjoy a delicious tasting of their typical products. Your mouth will be watering!
After this tasting, we'll continue our walk through the centre of Bern until we reach the former chocolate factory of Rodolphe Lindt. In 1879, this Swiss manufacturer created the first Lindt chocolate bar. We'll talk about how this milestone in confectionery came about, which was a revolution in the cocoa industry.
