The Château de Blois is one of the most emblematic fortified buildings in the Loire Valley, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. And no wonder, having been the favorite residence of the kings of France during the Renaissance.
With this ticket, you'll not only have the opportunity to visit the castle with an audioguide in English, but you'll also enjoy a unique audiovisual show with which you'll discover the history of the country in a fun and dynamic way.
When night falls, the walls of the castle will begin to light up with a series of images accompanied by a soundtrack that will give you goosebumps - an unforgettable experience!

The Château de Blois is open from Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 6:30 pm.
In 2026, the sound and light show will take place from April 4 to September 26, and from October 17 to 31.
These are the show’s start times for the 2026 season:
- April and September: at 10 pm
- May, June, July and August: at 10:30 pm. Except for June 21 and August 29, when there will be no shows.
- October and November: at 7:15 pm
Please note that the visiting hours of the castle and the light show are different. This means that you will not be able to visit the castle between closing time and the start of the light show.
The final entry to the castle is 30 minutes before closing time.
Skip-the-Line Tickets
By booking this ticket, you'll avoid the queues that usually form at the ticket offices of the Château de Blois. However, you'll have to wait in line to enter the monument. Security checks may take a few minutes.
