Join us for an unforgettable evening in the heart of Buenos Aires, the Argentine capital city.
Enjoy an authentic tango show in Palacio Tango, the former Tango Astor Piazzolla, at Galería Güemes, a unique space of late Art Nouveau style. Fun fact: it was the first building in Buenos Aires built entirely using reinforced concrete. It's also considered the first skyscraper in the city, and is regarded as one of the most magical places to enjoy art in the capital city.
The Galería Güemes, in turn, is made up of two theatres: the Teatro Astor Piazzolla and the Teatro Carlos Gardel. You can attend one or the other, as the booking options are common to both theatres, with the same price:
Astor Piazzolla Theatre
This theater preserves all the charm of its 1915 origins, with a pure operatic style of the Belle Époque.
Seduction, sympathy, sensuality, vigor... The Astor Piazzolla Theatre Sextet, accompanied by an excellent ballet and the best voices, offers a unique show every night based on traditional songs of great Argentine composers.
Details of the show: 1 piano, 2 violins, 2 bandoneons, 1 double bass, 5 dance couples, 5 costume changes per couple and 2 singers.
Tango Carlos Gardel
A space dedicated to the memory of Gardel. Among its five dance couples, three are world champions of Stage Tango.
The Virginia di Salvo sextet is formed by the most important musicians of the genre and the youthful and powerful voices of Ache Rey and Ximena Jimenez.
Details of the show: 1 piano, 2 violins, 2 bandoneons and 1 double bass, 6 dance couples, 6 costume changes per couple and 2 singers.
