We'll meet at the indicated time at Estrada de São Lourenço, 100 in Caniçal, where we'll be equipped with all the necessary material, while we learn some simple instructions about the vehicles we'll be driving. Once we are ready, we'll start our buggy tour through Caniçal and its surroundings.
Once prepared, we'll start our buggy tour around Caniçal and its surroundings, discovering the landscapes of eastern Madeira. We'll take an easy route, in which we'll have no problem driving while following our companion vehicle leading the group.
Starting along the Caminho da Fajã dos Rolos, this trail will take us to the Laurissilva Forest of Madeira, a unique natural area declared a World Heritage Site due to its extraordinary environmental value.
Next, we'll continue our buggy tour, passing by the forest refuge of Casa das Funduras. From there, we'll continue our route to the viewpoint of Pico do Furado, where we'll enjoy beautiful panoramic views.
Finally, after crossing different rural trails of Madeira, we'll conclude this 2.5-hour route by returning to the meeting point in Caniçal.
