No, it's not a joke: 9D cinema exists and you can find it at Minoan's World in Chania! Vibrating seats, wind, snow, rain, smoke, bubbles, lightning, and much more, all live and direct! Are you ready to experience a nine-dimensional movie?
Having arrived at the Minoan's World ticket office, you'll be assigned seats in the cinema to watch this unique show. The film will transport you back in time through numerous legends from Greek mythology and important historical events. From discovering the origins of Knossos, the most important city of the ancient Minoan civilization, to flying through the skies with Icarus and Daedalus and entering the labyrinth of the Minotaur, you'll be wowed by this experience!
After the 9D movie, you'll be able to visit the different exhibitions of the Minoan's World 3D Museum to discover its interactive sculptures and murals. The perfect combination of education and entertainment!
Usually, visitors watch the film before touring the museum, but the order of your visit may vary depending on availability in the theatre. Sometimes the tour of the museum will take place before the 9D cinema visit.

- Monday to Saturday: October 28 to November 4, from 11 am to 5 pm, the show runs every half hour. The last show will be at 4.30 pm.
- Monday to Saturday: November 5 to November 30, from 11 am to 4 pm, the show takes place every half hour. The last show will be at 3.30 pm.
The movie headsets are available in 11 languages: English, Greek, German, Polish, Russian, Dutch, French, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish.
Children under 3 years old
All ages are welcome to visit! Children under 3 years old go free, provided they sit on their parent or guardian's lap during the film screening. If they require their own seat, you must pay for a child's ticket for them.
