Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at number 18 of Queen Street in Charlottetown. There, we'll begin this tour of Prince Edward Island, full of Victorian buildings, red sand beaches, lighthouses and fairytale locations.
If you don't want to miss anything on this small but charming Canadian island, this tour is ideal for you. What's more, we'll be travelling in a small group of no more than 7 people, perfect for learning about the history behind the places we'll be visiting.
First, we'll take a minibus for a complete tour of Charlottetown, discovering such iconic places as St. Dunstan's Basilica, the Provincial House, the Confederation Centre of the Arts and the Government House. We'll also pass by the colourful facades of Victorian houses, the lively Queen Street, Victoria Park, and the University of Prince Edward Island.
Afterwards, we'll head to two of the island's most outstanding viewpoints to enjoy incredible views of the Dalvay and Cavendish cliffs. Be sure to take plenty of photos of the red sand coastline that characterises Prince Edward Island!
Our next stop will be at the Anne of Green Gables Historic Site, where we'll reveal the secrets of the stories created by author L. M. Montgomery. Here, we'll give you free time to explore the gardens, the house and the trails surrounding this bucolic place at your leisure.
We'll continue the tour of Prince Edward Island by visiting the picturesque village of New Glasgow. Did you know that it's considered one of the most beautiful places on the island? There, you'll have more free time to enjoy the local cuisine and stroll through its quiet streets.
Finally, we'll meet back up and head back to our starting point in Charlottetown, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 4 hours.
