Tour Details
We'll meet at the Liberation Monument, the urban epicenter and symbol of the city's rebirth after World War II. Here, among skyscrapers that are beginning to light up, we'll understand why Chongqing is known by many as the vertical city. Let's get started!
First, we'll descend to Bayi Street, where the aroma of hot pot, spices, and spicy dumplings mingles with the local hustle and bustle. We'll take a stroll and let ourselves be seduced by the energy that emerges from the night in this urban setting. A few steps away, we'll arrive at Hongyadong, the iconic architectural complex built on wooden stilts, inspired by the ancient stilt houses of the Ba-yu period. Under the golden lights, it seems to float on the Yangtze River.
Then, we'll cross the Qiansimen Bridge and reach Nanbin Road. Get your cameras ready—in front of us will be the most typical view of Chongqing! You'll see the illuminated Hongyadong skyline, the financial district emerging, and the blue of the twilight reflecting on the water. Beautiful!
Finally, we'll take a taxi or the subway to a quiet viewpoint on the riverbank or return to the Liberation Monument, Jiefangbei, depending on the crowds and the weather.
Our tour will end after 3.5 hours.
