Alto Paraná boasts some amazing waterfalls. We'll discover one of them on this trip to the Ñacunday National Park from Ciudad del Este. You'll love the landscapes of eastern Paraguay!
Description
At the scheduled time we'll collect you from the Centro Comercial Shopping del Este, and from there we'll make our way to one of the most spectacular locations in Alto Paraná, in east Paraguay.
After around an hour, we'll arrive at the Ñacunday National Park, where we'll discover its main natural attractions. The most famous of which is without a doubt the Ñacunday Waterfall. It's a spectacular waterfall that reaches almost 40 metres (131 ft.) in height.
We'll take a closer look at this waterfall, which is located very close to the mouth of the Ñacunday River at Paraná. Next, we'll visit some of the natural spaces in Ñacunday where the local Guaraní population resides. We'll also learn about their customs and traditions, which will help us to understand their ancestral culture.
After we've visited the park, we'll make a stop to grab a bite to eat. Please bring your own picnic, as this is a protected area in the middle of a jungle, and there are no restaurants or stalls that sell food.
Once we've eaten, we'll return to Ciudad del Este, where we'll arrive back at the meeting point after around 3.5 hours together.
