Ninhue & Buchupureo Excursion
At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Concepción and drive to the beautiful Chilean region of Ñuble.
We'll make a brief stop in Coelemu before arriving in the picturesque town of Ninhue. On the outskirts of this town lies San Agustín de Puñual, a large hacienda where we'll visit its Cuna de Prat museum. In this old mansion, the birthplace of the naval hero Arturo Prat Chacón, we'll see an exhibition dedicated to the times of the gold rush.
After visiting the museum, we'll head to the center of Ninhue to visit its famous handicraft fair, where we'll find the star product of this market: the famous chupallas, traditional straw hats that are very popular among local farmers.
We'll continue the route in the coastal town of Buchupureo, where we'll stop at a restaurant overlooking the sea located in the old port. You'll have an hour free for lunch and, after lunch, we'll visit the area's papaya plantations.
During the tour, we'll also go for a walk along the coast of Buchupureo where we'll see the famous rock church, a colossal rock structure that faces the Pacific Ocean.
Finally, we'll visit the colony of sea lions on the beach of Cobquecura and return to your hotel in Concepción, where we'll arrive at 10:30 pm.
