At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Constanta and head to the coast of Bulgaria. Let's discover three of the most popular destinations in the Black Sea!
After crossing the border, we'll travel to our first stop at the cliffs in Tyulenovo. At this picturesque location on the Bulgarian coast, we'll enjoy incredible views of the sea. The coast in this popular destination forms part of a beautiful landscape that you'll fall in love with.
We'll continue the tour along the Bulgarian coast to Balchik Palace. Mary of Yugoslavia resided in this palace, consort to King Alexander I of Yugoslavia. We'll learn about the history of both of these people as we explore its different floors and the botanic garden surrounding the building.
To end this guided visit to Balchik Palace, before leaving this residence, we'll take part in a Bulgarian wine tasting, accompanied by traditional treats. Then, you'll have 3 hours of free time to explore the surroundings of the palace and to have lunch if you want.
After lunch, we'll set off south. We'll make a brief stop at Golden Sands coastal resort and, here, continue to the city of Varna. At this popular coastal spot, we'll visit one of the largest Orthodox cathedrals in Bulgaria, consecrated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
From Varna, we'll finally return to Romania. We expect to arrive back at your hotel 14.5 hours after initial pickup.
