We'll gather at the designated time by the entrance gate to the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste, a historical gem located in the forests of the La Vera region in the province of Cáceres.

This private tour of the Monastery of Yuste offers an exclusive guide to accompany you through the last refuge of Charles V, who retired to this Hieronymite-run complex in 1556 and resided there until his passing 2 years later.

Explore the rooms traversed by Charles V, including the Royal Room—constructed specifically for the emperor's use and the place where he succumbed to an illness from a mosquito bite. Marvel at the views the sovereign enjoyed from his window, overlooking the orchard and pond.

Stroll through the Gothic and Renaissance cloisters, echoing the monarch's moments of contemplation and tranquility, and observe the contrast between the austerity of the former and the pronounced decoration of the latter.

Witness the monastery church, featuring a single nave and polygonal chancel, with its presbytery linked to the emperor's private quarters, mirroring the arrangement seen in Philip II's quarters at the El Escorial Monastery.
