In this guided tour of the Ecomuseum of the Ebro Delta, we'll discover the origin and history of this natural park. You'll also have the opportunity to see the ullal and a laúd, a typical boat.
Ebro Delta Natural Park Ecomuseum Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Ecomuseum of the Ebro Delta, located on Carrer Dr. Martí Buera. In this open-air interpretation center of the Ebro Delta Natural Park, we'll learn all about the beautiful landscapes of this natural space.
During our visit, we'll discover the origin of the delta, its history and its main ecosystems. First, we'll observe a model of the Ebro Delta and listen to curiosities about its formation.
Then, we'll head outside, where we'll find a representation of the Ebro River and its canals, orchards and rice fields. We'll also see a reconstruction of the barracks, used for traditional rice cultivation, fishing and bird watching, and a laúd, the typical boat used to navigate the area.
Passing by the aquariums and terrariums of the Ecomuseum, we'll get to see different species of fauna native to the region. Next, we'll continue the tour with a walk through the forest on the banks of the delta and the ullal, a unique freshwater spring.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point and the tour will conclude.
