We'll pick you up from your hotel in El Calafate at the designated time before beginning an unforgettable adventure through the Argentinean Patagonia. Ready for an unforgettable hike at El Chaltén? Let's go!
After an approximately 3-hour bus ride through the legendary Ruta 40 admiring landscapes such as the majestic Lago Argentino or La Leona, where we'll stop to rest, we'll reach our destination: El Chaltén.
Upon arrival, we'll begin our hiking tour through the Mirador del Torre, a route that runs through the Fitzroy River until reaching this fascinating viewpoint. You'll go to one of the most spectacular spots in Los Glaciares National Park!
During the approximately 3.72-mile (6-kilometer) hike, we'll pass through a valley of unique beauty, as well as through the Fitzroy River gorge, where we'll find the Margarita viewpoint. Once we reach the summit, you'll admire the stunning views of Cerro Solo, Cordón Adela, Cerro Torre, and Fitz Roy. Don't forget to take pictures!
To rest up, we'll enjoy a picnic-style lunch including a ham and cheese sandwich, a mini cake, salad, fruit, and homemade pudding. After lunch, we'll start the descent back to the village of El Chaltén.
Once we arrive in this mountain town, the bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in El Calafate, where we'll arrive 13 hours later.
