Explore the Argentinean Patagonia in a unique way when you take this trek on Vespignani Glacier. On this unforgettable adventure, you'll also sail along the beautiful Desert Lake.
After picking you up from your hotel in El Calafate at the indicated time, we'll embark on a bus excursion to El Chaltén. On the way, we'll make a stop for a break next to the La Leona River.
After a three-hour journey, we'll arrive in El Chaltén. Then we follow an impressive panoramic road through lush forests to the idyllic Desert Lake. In this beautiful setting, we'll take a wonderful half-hour boat trip to observe the Huemul and Creston glaciers up close.
We'll then disembark at the foot of the Vespignani glacier and head into the spectacular nature reserve to begin a brilliant trekking route. Depending on the difficulty of the trail you choose, the walk will take 15-45 minutes.
After contemplating the beauty of the Patagonian landscape and enjoying some impressive views of the north face of Mount Fitz Roy, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch to regain our strength. Then we'll get back on the boat to return to the bus and head back to El Calafate.
Finally, after a 14-hour excursion, we'll conclude the activity by taking you back to your hotel.
