Want to discover Puerto de Santa María and round it all off with a fun blind wine tasting? We'll meet by the Palacio de Araníbar and set off on a walking tour through this beautiful town in the province of Cádiz.
We'll kick things off with a guided tour of Puerto de Santa María, a city shaped by its ties to trade with the New World and closely linked to the wines of Jerez. Along the way, we'll pass some of the town's most important landmarks, including the Castillo de San Marcos, the Plaza de España, and the Basílica y Santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Milagros.
After 1 hour of exploring, we'll move on to a fun experience that will put all your senses to work, except one! At the foot of the majestic Iglesia Mayor Prioral, we'll stop at a bar for the blind tasting.
Blindfolded, you'll rely entirely on your nose and your palate to identify 3 wines from the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Denomination of Origin. Did you know it's the oldest in Spain?
We'll pair the tasting of these fortified wines from the Marco de Jerez with an aperitivo that will make you fall even more in love with Puerto de Santa María with every bite.
