On this hiking route through the Bosque de Pinsapos near Estepona, we'll discover the breathtakingly lush nature of the Sierra Bermeja, perfect for plant and wildlife lovers!
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Punto Limpio in Estepona and we'll set off toward the Bosque de Pinsapos de la Sierra Bermeja, a real botanical treasure in the province of Malaga.
Once we start walking, we'll delve into the largest fir forest on peridotite stones in the world. Throughout the tour, we'll tell you about the particularities of this area, as well as about the different species that have to adapt to the rugged terrain.
We'll learn about the main tree and shrub species of the Spanish fir forest and the commercial activities that have been carried out in this area throughout history. Another highlight of the route is the breathtaking views we'll get over the Mediterranean Sea and of the Genal Valley.
After a four-hour hike through the Bosque de Pinsapos de Estepona, we'll return to the starting point and the tour will come to an end.
