Paddle past some of Florianópolis' most beautiful spots on this kayak tour of Barra da Lagoa and Lagoa de Conceição. We'll take a dip in the water and enjoy a picnic.
After meeting up at the designated time in Servidão da Prainha, we'll have a safety talk before handing over the kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Once we're all ready, we'll begin this journey by paddling down the Barra da Lagoa canal. Let's set sail!
As we venture further along the water, we'll find ourselves surrounded by the dense vegetation of southern Brazil's Atlantic Forest. We'll make stops along the way to enjoy a dip in the water and take the best photos of the coastline.
You'll be blown away by the local fauna we'll encounter with every paddle. See if you can spot capibaras relaxing on the shore, tortoises basking in the sun, and the typical red crabs of the region. In July, August, and September, we might even see penguins!
The kayak tour will continue until we pass under a bridge, welcoming us to the impressive Lagoa de Conceição. We'll be met by views of a horizon of calm waters with green mountains in the distance.
We'll then go in search of a small hidden and almost pristine beach, where we'll have a stop to enjoy a picnic which includes fruit and juices. The perfect moment to enjoy the serenity of our surroundings!
Having re-energised, we'll return to our kayaks to paddle back to our original meeting point in Barra da Lagoa, enjoying the breeze along the way. We'll say our goodbyes after a total of 4 to 5 hours of this adventure. Until next time!
