At the scheduled time, we'll meet near Ponta das Canas beach, in the north of Florianópolis, to begin an activity that will make you feel like a professional sailor for a day. Ready to start a sailing lesson? Let's go!
Before heading out onto the water, you’ll meet the instructors, who will give you a theoretical introduction covering the essential fundamentals of sailing. Terminology, boat parts, maneuvers... Everything you need to confidently put theory into practice!
On the day of the activity, depending on availability, you can choose between the following types of boats:
Once ready, we’ll head out onto the water and begin the practical session. With the instructor accompanying you at all times, you’ll learn how to read the wind direction and apply the appropriate sailing techniques for every situation.
Finally, we’ll return to the starting point and conclude the sailing class 1 hour later.
The activity usually takes place in the afternoon. However, the exact start time will be confirmed the day before the course, as it depends on the forecasted wind conditions.
