At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Ponta das Canas beach, in the north of Florianópolis. Ready to learn one of the most exciting water sports out there? Welcome to this windsurfing lesson!
Ponta das Canas is the ideal place to learn windsurfing if you're in Brazil. Its geographical features, calm waters with barely any waves, and shallow bay make it the perfect place for beginners to get started in this water sport.
Once everyone has arrived, we’ll begin the session with an introduction on the sand. You'll learn the basic terminology, how to assemble and disassemble the equipment, and get familiar with the board and sail, which is essential for becoming an expert in the field.
After these initial instructions, we'll hop onto the boards and gradually learn how to sail using the power of the wind. You’ll practice moving both upwind and downwind and perform technical maneuvers such as tacking and jibing like real windsurfers. In no time, you’ll feel completely at ease on the water!
After a full 90-minute windsurfing lesson at Ponta das Canas, we’ll return the equipment and conclude the experience.
