At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and from there, start this scenic tour of Fortaleza, where we'll admire some of the iconic spots of the capital of the state of Ceará.
First, we'll explore the center of the city until we reach its urban beach, the Praia de Iracema. Along the beach, we can admire some historic buildings like the old Estoril restaurant, which was a casino for American troops during World War II.
Then, we'll cross the Ponte dos Ingleses, an iconic metallic and concrete structure that juts out into the sea at the end of the Praia de Iracema. We'll continue our tour passing by the former public jail, today transformed into Emcetur, the Tourism Center of Ceará. This building dates back to the 1850s and has operated as a prison for over a century. Today, it's a large craft market.
After our tour of Fortaleza, we'll take you to the famous Praia de Cumbuco, known for its golden dunes. Here, you'll have around 4 hours of free time so you can eat at one of the restaurants on the beach, take a refreshing dip, or simply relax by the sand.
Afterward, we'll regroup again to start our journey back to the starting point, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 8 hours.
