Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance to the César Príncipe Winery to begin our tour of its facilities. Are you ready to immerse yourselves in the winemaking tradition of the province of Valladolid?
First, we'll visit the two underground cellars. Here, you can see how wine has been processed throughout history, observing the traditional production methods. You'll learn about the evolution of the process until the arrival of the vertical press in the 1980s.
Our tour will continue in the current winery, where the machinery has been modernized and updated. We'll walk around the barrel room, the tank room, and the wine-making room, seeing how the red and claret wines that bear their name today are created.
We'll finish the experience on a high note with a tasting of all the wines on sale in the winery at the time of your visit. All this will be accompanied by a tasty selection of local cured meats.
Plus, the tour and tasting will be given, whenever possible, by Juan Príncipe himself, the fourth generation of the family, ensuring that you learn about the history and production process firsthand.
