We'll pick you up at the time of your choice at your hotel in Garopaba. From there we'll drive to one of the most beautiful coastal areas of the state of Santa Catarina. Ready to be amazed?
During the tour, we'll enjoy Garopaba's exuberant natural landscapes and learn about the city's history, marked by the culture brought by European immigrants and by the whaling traps that were used to hunt southern right whales. We'll tell you all about this longstanding regional tradition and about a local project that today ensures the preservation and protection of this species.
Continuing along the coast of Garopaba we'll reach the extensive beach of Praia da Ferrugem. From there we'll continue the route to Praia da Silveira, a beach whose strong waves are very popular among surfers. If you participate in the tour in winter, it's even possible to see Atlantic whales along this inlet!
Next, we'll visit the urban beach of Garopaba. After admiring the scenery, we'll head north of the city to visit the dunes of Siriú. These famous mounds of sand can reach a towering 40 meters (131 feet) high and extend 5 kilometers (over 3 miles) long, making it a sandboarding paradise in Santa Catarina.
From the Siriú dunes, we'll return to your hotel in Garopaba, where we'll arrive four hours after pickup.
