Linha Ávila Jardineira Bus Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Praça das Etnias in Gramado and board a jardineira, a type of local vehicle similar to a bus, but much more charming.
On this tour through Linha Ávila, a very popular route in Gramado, we'll discover the legacy of the European and Gaucho cultures. We'll start the tour meeting the Wagner family, who will welcome us in their home to show us the more rural side of Gramado and tell us the history of Lírio and Terezinha. We'll also visit a strawberry plantation and you'll be able to buy homemade sweets made with local products.
We'll continue to discover the history of Italian immigration at the Cantina Nonno Giovanni, where we'll see how they produce their wines and taste some traditional delicacies, such as cheeses, sausages, and homemade bread.
To end the tour on a high note, we'll visit Sítio Tradição, an essential place to learn about mixed indigenous Gaucho culture and cuisine. Here we'll enjoy a typical lunch with one of Gramado's star dishes: grilled ribs. We'll leave you some free time to participate in a workshop or take a horseback ride if you wish.
After a total of six hours, we'll conclude the tour by returning to the starting point at Praça das Etnias.
