At the indicated time, we'll meet at the stairs of the La Lieutenance building, next to the statue of Samuel de Champlain, to start this food tour of Honfleur.
After a brief introduction, we'll head to Place Sainte-Catherine to visit Honfleur's open-air market, which is held every Saturday morning.
During the market tour, we'll visit different stalls to taste traditional products from Normandy. Among the main specialities are ciders and Calvados wines. In addition, Camembert and Pont-l'Évêque cheeses are very popular, as well as andouille de Vire, a typical sausage.
While tasting these products, which may vary according to the season, we'll discover the gastronomic customs of Honfleur. As well as its bustling food scene, Honfleur's beautiful coastal scenery is sure to charm you!
Finally, we'll take a short walk around the Vieux Port of Honfleur and, after about 2 hours in total, we'll conclude the tour in the rue de la Ville.
