Los Tuneles is a unique place just off Isabela Island where volcanic lava has formed tunnels and arches inside and outside of the sea. Snorkel in this spectacular landscape with rays and sea turtles!
Los Tuneles Snorkelling Tour
At the indicated time time we'll pick you up at your hotel on Isabela Island and set off for Villamil harbour, where we'll board a boat to explore the wild surroundings of Los Túneles. Be careful! On some of the rocky promontories, we'll be able to see penguins.
This place is a marine sanctuary made up of rocks and geological formations created by volcanic lava and water erosion. As soon as we arrive, we'll walk along the rocky surface observing the carob trees, cacti and palos santos. We'll also see the nests of blue gannets, flamingos and albatrosses.
Afterwards, we'll put on our snorkelling gear and dive into the water to admire the underwater caves and arches. We're likely to be joined on the expedition by manta rays, lobsters, turtles and sea lions.
After enjoying this natural paradise of the Galapagos archipelago, we'll set off for your hotel on Isabela Island. Arrival is scheduled after 5-6 hours of adventure.
Lunch
If you book for 7:20 am, your tour will include a breakfast consisting of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a snack and a drink.
If you book for 11 am, the tour includes a lunch consisting of a rice dish with salad and chicken or fish.
