At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Izola and drive to Lipica, home to the famous Lipizzaner horses. Animal lovers, get ready for an unforgettable day!
We'll visit a Lipizzaner stud farm in Lipica, where we'll learn all about these beautiful animals. Renowned worldwide for their dressage skills, this breed is one of Slovenia's most precious treasures. We'll discover why during the tour!
We'll walk through the stables so that you can pet the horses and feed them. We'll watch them trot and, in order to learn more about them, we'll also go into the Lipikum Museum - it'll be a very complete visit! You'll also have the opportunity to attend a dressage show.
Next, we'll leave the Lipica estate and travel to the nearby Skocjan Caves, considered one of the most important natural phenomena in Slovenia. We'll enter the caves and see the impressive stalactites, stalagmites and even underground lakes that have been formed over the years.
After touring the Skocjan Caves, we'll return to the minibus to go back to your hotel in Izola. The tour will end at approximately 2 pm.
