Tour Details
We'll pick you up at your hotel at the designated time to begin our Kauai Movie Tour. Did you know that scenes from several feature films have been shot on this Hawaiian island? During the tour, we'll visit places that movie buffs will recognize instantly!
Our first stop will be at Pōhaku Ho'ōhanau (the "Royal Birth Stone"), a sacred Hawaiian place with a profound cultural significance. From here, we'll head to the impressive ʻŌpaekaʻa Falls, which appeared in Elvis Presley's movie Blue Hawaii. This waterfall, which falls more than 131 ft (40 m) down a cliff covered in vegetation, is ideal for taking unforgettable photos.
Then, we'll enjoy a scenic stroll through the town of Kapaʻa, where scenes from Jurassic Park were filmed. As we continue, you'll recognize the landscapes that brought the fictional island of Nublar to life. Then, we'll make a stop at the Lydgate Tasting Room to taste delicious artisanal chocolates.
More to the north, we'll visit the Faro de Kīlauea, which inspired various scenes in Lilo & Stitch, one of the most famous Disney movies in recent times. This picturesque lighthouse, which operated until the 1970s, offers spectacular coastal views. Afterward, we'll head to the charming town of Hanalei, where you'll have free time to have lunch on your own, explore art galleries, local boutiques, and visit the famous Hanalei Pier.
