We'll meet at the indicated time on Leviraitti street in Kittilä. From there, we'll set off for a reindeer farm on the outskirts of the city. Ready to meet these friendly Lappish animals?
Upon arrival at the farm, we'll meet an expert on these beautiful animals who will tell us all there is to know about reindeer. We'll learn about the care they receive, their habits, what they feed on, and many other curiosities.
We'll also get to see the training they do to be able to pull sleds, one of the most famous activities in the area. They are Santa Claus' chauffeurs for a reason! Despite being semi-wild, reindeer are also some of the most docile animals in Finland.
After enjoying this experience at the reindeer farm, we'll return to the starting point in Kittilä, arriving after a total of 2 to 2.5 hours.
