Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, the famous Olympic Museum in Lausanne houses one of Switzerland's most comprehensive exhibitions dedicated to sport.
With your tickets to the Olympic Museum, you'll have an audio guide take you through the different rooms of the exhibition, which houses a large collection of Olympic torches and medals.
Throughout your visit, you'll learn about the history of Olympism, from its origins in Classical Greece to the Olympic Games of the modern era, held from 1896 to the present day.
The exhibition also features a wide range of footwear, clothing, and sports equipment used in various Olympic and Paralympic Games. The museum also has an Olympic Park with works of art related to sport and Olympism, created by leading international artists like Auguste Rodin, Niki de Saint Phalle, Fernando Botero, and Antoni Tàpies.
At the end of your visit, you can enjoy a drink in the museum's panoramic restaurant, which offers beautiful views of Lake Geneva.
The Olympic Museum in Lausanne is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm.
