Lady Louisa's Walk Guided Tour
If you'd like to explore Lismore's beautiful surroundings, we'll meet on West Street at 11 am and set off on a scenic guided tour of Lady Louisa's Walk.
During our 50-minute tour, we'll walk through Lismore's peaceful woodlands. We'll stroll along the banks of the River Blackwater and admire the town's most iconic landmarks, such as the Cathedral and the Castle. As we walk, we'll discuss the history of Lismore.
We'll continue strolling along Lady Louisa's Walk and discovering the unique characteristics of this part of Waterford County's vegetation. In addition, we'll discuss the story of Lady Louisa herself, daughter of the 7th Duke of Devonshire.
Our pleasant walk through Lismore Forest will then come to an end as we return to the starting point at 11:50 am.
