If you're in Logroño and want to discover the secrets of La Riojan wine, then this is the place for you! At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance to Hoplita, a winery with over 500 years of history in the heart of the city centre.
Did you know that Hoplita is the only winery in La Rioja that makes wines in Logroño's historical centre? Located in the old palace of Conde de Murillo y Bornos, it is the perfect spot to discover the history of wine in La Rioja's capital.
Throughout the visit, we'll reveal the great secrets behind how wine is made in its rooms. The guide will explain how this winery came to make 20000 litres of wine in the 18th century, as well as the characteristics of the grapes grown in its vineyards. Additionally, we'll show you where the barrel and bottling rooms are.
To end this experience on a high note, we'll have a tasting of 4 wines in the barrel room. The tasting will consist of 2 white wines and 2 red wines, paired with an aperitif of products from La Rioja.
