We'll meet up at 11:30 am on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, where a very special vehicle will be waiting for us. Remember those typical 1970s Volkswagen Campers? We'll hop into the vintage van and set off on a road trip from Los Angeles to Malibu. California dreamin'!
Our driver-guide will take us along the road that connects Los Angeles with Malibu, one of the most spectacular routes in the world. The views over the coast are truly breathtaking! We'll make our first stop at a Malibu winery to find out if Californian wine deserves its fame.
At the winery, we'll learn all about the production process and the different varieties of wine that are made here. For the finishing touch on our visit, we'll indulge in a tasting of four local wines accompanied by cheese and cured meats - mouth watering!
With a delicious taste in our mouths, we'll climb back into our VW vintage van and hit the road again, stopping to take in the beautiful views of the Point Dume cliffs and the Malibu Pier.
The tour will come to an end back at the original departure point in Los Angeles at around 3:30 pm.
All our VW Campervans are vintage models with a capacity for 3 or 4 people including the driver guide.
