The RMS Queen Mary is an ocean liner that set sail for the first time in 1936. It was originally used to transport passengers between the United Kingdom and the United States, but with the outbreak of World War II, it began to be used to transport troops. Due to its incredible power, which allowed it to evade German submarines, Hitler even offered a reward to anyone who could sink the ship.
With this ticket, you can explore the history of this giant of the seas at your own pace. The ship is permanently docked in the port of Long Beach, California, and has been converted into a fascinating hotel-museum.
During your visit, you’ll have access to more than 23 exhibits throughout the ship showcasing the splendid original Art Deco design, the first-class cabins, and the nostalgia-filled corridors. You can descend to the ship's operational areas to get a close-up look at the powerful machinery and monumental engineering that propelled this colossus across the Atlantic.
You’ll also stroll along the spacious outdoor decks, the perfect spot to enjoy panoramic views of the harbor and its dazzling skyline.
The RMS Queen Mary is open every day of the week from 10 am to 6 pm.
