If you want an action-packed experience in the Swiss Alps, you can't miss this day trip to Grindelwald from Lucerne. You'll even get to enjoy a beginner's ski class at Bodmi Arena Ski Station.
Day Trip Details
We'll meet at the Landenberg bus parking in Lucerne at the designated time before setting off towards the canton of Bern by bus.
Once we reach this region, we'll make our way to a sports centre in Interlaken, where we'll set you up with all the necessary equipment. Once we're all ready, we'll travel to the alpine village of Grindelwald, where the popular Bodmi Arena Ski Station is located. If weather conditions are unfavourable, we'll conduct the class in one of the neighbouring ski stations.
If you've never skied before, Bodmi Arena is the perfect place to learn. This ski station, located in the Jungfrau region, boasts of 6000 square metres (almost 64600 square feet) and 22 slopes. Our ski classes will take place in the beginner's zone, as this activity is aimed at people who want to try out this winter sport for the first time.
How do you snowplough? What is the best technique for braking with skis? During this 2 and a half hour class, we'll answer these questions and many more that may arise, in a lesson that is just as theoretical as it is practical, and limited to just 8 people.
After this ski class, you'll have free time during the rest of the day at the Bodmi Arena Ski Station in Grindelwald to enjoy its beginner's slopes. You'll also have the chance to grab yourself a bite to eat in one of the restaurants, bars, and cafés dotted around the station.
Lastly, we'll travel back to Interlaken to return the ski equipment and begin our journey back to our initial starting point in Lucerne, where this 10-hour day trip will come to an end.
