Discover the magnificent vineyards with this Rhone Valley Wine Tour. You'll be able to taste the Côte-Rôtie and Hermitage wines!
We'll meet at 10 am in front of the Tourist Office in the famous Place Bellecour and start this excursion which will delight wine lovers.
After a 30-minute drive south, you'll arrive in the prestigious Côte-Rôtie vineyards. In the company of the guide, you'll walk on the steep slopes where the vines are located to understand what makes this red wine of controlled designation of origin so exceptional. To make this first part of the tour even more special, you'll be able to taste between 5 and 6 wines such as Saint-Joseph, Condrieu and of course Côte-Rôtie. Will you be able to recognise the aromas of each?
You'll then have an hour free in the winery and its vineyard and the local cuisine before discovering Hermitage vineyards.
Next, we'll visit a vineyard appellation in the northern Rhone valley, on the left bank of the Rhone. Thanks to the area's climate, you can enjoy wine with aromas of red fruits and flowers. We'll try 5 or 6 different wines.
Next, we'll take a stroll to the top of Hermitage hill to enjoy the view of the Rhone Valley.
Finally, we'll end the tour by returning to the departure point in Lyon where you'll arrive at around 6 pm.
