Once we're ready, we'll begin discovering the cultural significance of henna in Morocco. For centuries, this body art was used to adorn hands and feet at weddings, religious celebrations, and other special events. Did you know the most common symbols are used to protect us from the evil eye or to invoke fertility?
Next, we'll show you the preparation process of henna paste, as well as the traditional technique to apply the drawings. You'll be guided by Berber women who are experts in this art and who will show you how to draw the most popular symbols and their meanings.
