Prada Foundation in Milan
What if we told you that you can now visit one of the buildings housing some of Milan's most prestigious contemporary art institutions? Welcome to the Prada Foundation!
Designed by the OMA architecture studio, led by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, the Prada Foundation is one of Milan's most important exhibition spaces.
With your ticket, you can explore contemporary works by renowned international artists such as Thomas Demand, Robert Gober, Louise Bourgeois, Andreas Slominski, and Jean-Luc Godard. It also has a permanent exhibition called Atlas, which is perfect for tracing the history of the foundation through a careful selection of works.
Another must-see is the Osservatorio, the space that the Prada Foundation dedicates to experimentation through visual languages and research into technology and the different cultural expressions that exist in today's world.
Of course, the building itself is one of the main highlights of your visit. Opened in 1993, the Prada Foundation evolved from a famous distillery in the 1910s into a meticulously designed exhibition space in southern Milan.
Opening Hours
The Prada Foundation is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm.
