If you want to combine adventure and relaxation, this quad tour of Praia de Garapuá is the perfect way to explore the wilder side of Morro de São Paulo. We’ll travel along the back roads of Ilha de Tinharé until we reach Garapuá, passing by Quinta Praia along the way.
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the reception area on Segunda Praia, the starting point for this exciting quad tour. There, we'll provide you with helmets and protective goggles. Let's go!
Before we set off, the instructor will explain the controls, and we'll spend about 15 minutes on a brief practical training session and a quick test on the sand to learn how to handle the vehicle. Is this your first time driving one? Don't worry—you'll receive all the instructions you need to drive with complete confidence!
Afterward, we'll set off in a convoy toward the southern part of the Ilha de Tinharé. We'll continue until we make our first stop at Quinta Praia, also known as Praia do Encanto, one of the island's best-preserved beaches. Here, we'll take a break to snap some photos and admire its white sand, crystal-clear waters, and landscape free of tourist developments.
Next, we'll continue driving along trails surrounded by the vegetation of the Atlantic Forest. We'll pass through shaded areas, exposed roots, and stretches of white sand.
Finally, we'll arrive in Garapuá, a small fishing village located at the southern tip of Morro de São Paulo, largely untouched by mass tourism. As soon as we arrive, you'll have up to two hours of free time to swim in the sea, relax in hammocks among coconut trees, or have lunch on your own at one of the local restaurants, enjoying dishes like fresh fish, lobster, or moqueca.
Afterward, we'll head back on the quad bikes, retracing our steps and enjoying the golden afternoon light over the areião.
Back at Segunda Praia, we'll return the equipment and wrap up this quad tour after 7 hours of adventure.
